1. Sri Venkateshwara Temple

Thirupathi Thirumala Venkateswara Temple or Thirupathi Balaji Temple is the most respected and celebrated temple of Tirupati, attracting tourists and pilgrims over the years. It is situated in the hills of Tirumala at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The temple is dedicated to Venkateswara who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is believed to have appeared on earth to save mankind from the trials and troubles of Kali Yuga. Hence, it is also known by the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntha and the deity here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. Venkateshwara is also known by other names such as Balaji, Govinda, and Srinivasa. The temple is run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which is under the control of the Andhra Pradesh Government.

Tirumala Hills are part of Seshachalam Hills. The hills are 853 meters (2,799 ft) above sea level and they comprise seven peaks which represent the seven heads of Adisesha. The temple lies on the seventh peak Venkatadri on the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini, a holy water tank. Therefore, recognized as the Temple of Seven Hills and it features Dravidian architecture.

2. Ranganatha Temple

Ranganatha Temple is located on the banks of the Penna River and is believed to have been constructed in the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha a resting form of the Lord Vishnu. This temple is also called Talpagiri Ranganathaswami Temple or Ranganayakulu and is one of the famous temples in Andhra Pradesh.

The temple is known for its beautiful architecture and excellent carving. Within the temple premises, there are seven gold pots decorated with large mirrors. Addala Mandapam, a small hall situated within the complex is famous for its beautiful inlay work. It is also a significant part of the temple being the place where the idol of the presiding deity of the temple, Lord Sri Ranganathswamy is carved.

Just before the main entrance of the temple, there is a huge tower present which is called Gaaligopuram, which means the wind tower. This tower is approximately 70 feet high and has 10 feet of gold-plated vessels on top of it, called Kalashams. Every year from March to April a grand festival is celebrated called Brahmotsavam.

3. Kanaka Durga Temple

The Kanaka Durga Temple is famous for its shrine dedicated to the Goddess Durga. It is officially known as Sri Durga Swamyvarla Devasthanam and is dedicated to Kanaka Durga. This temple is surrounded by Inrakeeladri Hills along the banks of the River Krishna located in Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh India.

The temple finds its mention in many sacred texts and Vedic literature as well and is a special temple among devotees and followers. 4. Veerabhadra Temple

The Veerabjadra Temple was built in the 16th century and the temple is dedicated to the Veerabhadra, a fierce form of the god Shiva. The architectural features of the temple are in the Vijayanagara style with sculptures and paintings visible on every surface of the temple. The temple is located in Lepakshi in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

It is one of the centrally protected monuments of the nation and is considered one of the most spectacular Vijayanagara temples.

The altar paintings are particularly detailed in very bright dresses and colours with scenes of Rama and Krishna from the epic stories of the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, and the Puranas and they are very highly conserved.

There is a very large Nandi (bull), mount of Shiva, about 200 meters (660 ft) away from the temple which is carved from a single block of stone, and is said to be one of the largest of its type in the world. 5. Yaganti Temple

Yaganti Temple or Sri Yaganta Uma Maheswara Temple is a temple of Shiva in the Nandyal district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple holds the idol of Shiva and Parvathi fused which is called Ardhanareeswara. This fascinating idol is carved out of a single stone and is a marvellous idol of the deities. The temple was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions. The festival of Maha Shiv Ratri which falls around February and March each year is celebrated with great splendor and display. Tourists and especially devotees of Lord Shiva flock to the temple in huge numbers during this time.

6. Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple

Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is situated on the Simhachalam Hill Range, which is 300 meters above sea level in the city of Vishakapatnam Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped there as Varaha Narasimha.

According to the temple tradition, Vishnu appeared in this form- a lion's head and human body after saving his devotee Prahlada from a murder attempt by the latter's father Hiranyakashipu. Lord Narasimha appears here in tribhanga posture and has two hands with the head of a lion on a human torso (trunk).

The Simhachalam temple has regular prayer rituals for all days of the year and is not interrupted by the flock of people. Indeed, this place is a treasure of traditional Vaishnavite culture. Interestingly, the statue of the deity emerges in its original form for just 12 hours each year on Akshaya Tritiya. On every other occasion, the idol is coated with sandalwood paste. Because of its past and strong traditional values, Simhachalam Temple has served as a source of inspiration for several poets, including Kuchimanchi Timma Kavi, Adidam Sura Kavi, and many more.

7. Kanipakkam Vinayaka Temple

Vinayaka Temple or Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple is the historical temple of Ganesha. As per legend, it is believed that the deity is Svayambhu (Self-manifested), and the deity is known as the Shrine of Water, which means the deity is seen in the well which is always full of water. This Temple is located in Kanipakam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

The royal Kanipakkam Temple has immense religious significance and importance due to its miraculous idol. The water in the compound is said to be holy and it is believed to treat a variety of abnormalities.

8. Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Vari Devasthanam

Sri Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple or Annavaram Temple is a Hindu-Vaishnavite temple located at Annavaram town in Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh state, India.

The temple is situated on Ratnagiri Hill on the banks of the river Pampa. It can be accessed by both footsteps and by road. The Temple resembles a chariot with four wheels in four corners. The main sanctum is on two floors and the main entrance has been gold-plated. The temple hosts a mandapam to conduct Satyanaraya Vrathams.

The Satyanarayana Puja is a puja (religious ritual worship) dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, who is also known as Satyanarayana. This puja is described in the Skanda Puranas.

9. Sri Vontimitta Kodandarama Swamy temple

Kondandarama Temple is a Temple dedicated to the god Rama and is located in Vontimitta town in Vontimitta Mandalam of Kadapa district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple has a Vijayanagara architectural style in the Sandhara order within a rectangular yard enclosed by walls. It is said to be the largest temple in this region.

According to the local tradition, the temple was built by Vontudu and Mittudu they were Nishadas (boya) and Vamsha, who were robbers turned into devotees of Rama. After building the temple, they are said to have turned into stone

It has three Gopurams (towers) with the central tower, which faces east, serving as an entry doorway the other two towers face north and south. This central tower is built in five tiers, and several steps are provided to access the approach gate of the tower. The Mandapa or the Rangamantapam is present as an open-air theatre and has magnificent sculptures. The mandapa is supported by 32 pillars and it is known as Madhyarangaradapam.

10. Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple

Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple or Srisailam Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to the deities Shiva and Parvati, located at Srisailam in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. As per Hindu tradition, the deity of this temple is in the form of Linga (an iconic form of Shiva) and was worshipped with jasmine (locally called Mallika in Telugu), leading to the name of the presiding deity as Mallikarjuna

It is important to the Hindu religions of both Shaivism and Shaktism as this temple is referred to as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva and as one of the eighteen Shakthi Pithas, centers of the Hindu Goddess.

Shiva is worshiped as Mallikarjuna and is represented as Lingam. His consort Parvati is shown as Bhramaramba. This temple is classified as one of the Paadal Petra Sthalam. The Temple has numerous shrines of which Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba are the most prominent. The temple is situated in east-facing. The center mandapam has several pillars, with a huge idol of Nadikeshwara.
